Red Collar Rescue Fundraiser

An unfortunate incident occurred at a local Houston rescue group, Red Collar Rescue. All dogs at a Rice Military location were intentionally poisoned by an unknown individual. Thankfully, all dogs were saved with veterinary care, and currently all animals are alive and recovering. Unfortunately, this left Red Collar Rescue with an enormous vet bill.

To lend a hand, HDR collected donations from clients. All donations of $20 or more received a personalized stepping stone with pawprint and name. HDR is so excited to say that we were able to raise $2000 to help the dogs of Red Collar Rescue!!!

We want to extend our most sincere thanks to our amazing clients for their generosity. We'd also like to thank our outstanding staff for all of the hard work that they put into making the fundraiser a huge success!

The Ranch Egg Hunt

What better way to start off spring than an egg hunt at the ranch?

Thanks to all of our staff for their hard work and dedication not only to HDR, but, more importantly, to all of the dogs that come to the ranch. We are so happy to have all of you as a part of our ranch family! Keep up the good work!

Canines & Wines: April 18th, 2009 7:00PM - 9:00PM

This year, The Homeless Pet Placement League (HPPL) celebrates 20 years of service to animals and people in the Houston community. On April 18th, Houston Dog Ranch hosted a benefit to celebrate HPPL's hard work and dedication to animals in our community. Thanks to all of you who joined us for an evening of wine, appetizers, and tours of the ranch. HPPL had a silent auction with some awesome items . The evening was a great success!

And the KILT K9 is...
Earlier this summer, Houston Dog Ranch joined KILT in search of the KILT K9! What a fun contest! Thanks to all of those who entered. Congratulations to the winner, Boudreaux, an 8 month old Great Dane. Boudreaux will be working with one of our trainers soon...stay tuned for updates on his time with us!

Houston Dog Ranch is Top Dog in Houston Pet Talk's 2008 Readers' Choice Awards!!

This year's Readers' Choice Awards as published by Houston Pet Talk Magazine named Houston Dog Ranch "Best in Show" for Best Boarding and/or Doggie Daycare Facility in Houston. Tonia Whilden also earned the Silver Paw in the category of Best Dog Trainer or Dog Training Company. What a great way to finish our first year in business! Thank you to all of our amazing employees, loyal clients and wonderful friends for making this possible!
