Dog Sports Foundations:
If you've ever wanted to try a dog sport with your dog this is the class for you. Get started on the right track by learning skills you will need for any sport. In no time, you will be working as a team with your dog! In this class, we work on developing focus and attention, impulse control, off leash skills, and physical and mental skills needed for sports through games and exercises.

Requirements:  Qualified dogs are able to consistently respond to basic cues (ie. sit, stay, down, come) and walk on a leash and must be able to work around other dogs and people. Owners are fluent with positive training methods and concepts. Vaccinations must be administered by a license veterinarian. Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and a Parvovirus/Distemper/Parainfluenza combination (i.e. DHLPP or DA2PP)

Agility Classes:

Ever thought your dog might enjoy leaping over jumps, weaving through poles and running through tunnels? Come find out! Agility is great for relationship building between you and your dog. When you go home after agility, your dog will be worn out mentally and physically from all of the running and thinking!

Beginner I Agility
This class consists of introducing your dog to each obstacle and setting the foundation for your dog to learn to work with you. Agility provides great mental stimulation for your dog and creates a life-long bond with your favorite canine. After learning each obstacle, we begin short sequences. This class focuses on having fun and getting you started on the right foot!
Requirements: Qualified dogs are able to consistently respond to basic cues (sit, down, stay, come, etc.) with a low-to-moderate level of distraction. Vaccinations must be administered by a license veterinarian. Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and a Parvovirus/Distemper/Parainfluenza combination (i.e. DHLPP or DA2PP)

Beginner II Agility

This course focuses on linking obstacles together in sequences and continuing to incorporate basic skills into agility. This class ensures your success by setting the solid foundation of teaching your dog control while having fun. You will see your relationship with your dog grow exponentially as the sequences grow longer and he looks to you for direction.

Requirements: Successfully completed Beginner I Agility or equivalent. Vaccinations must be administered by a license veterinarian. Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and a Parvovirus/Distemper/Parainfluenza combination (i.e. DHLPP or DA2PP)

Intermediate Agility

This course builds on the sequencing of the obstacles and also develops the handling skills of each owner. Since the dog is comfortable with each obstacle and pairing all of the different obstacles in sequences, he is ready for the next level. We begin courses which require handlers to change directions and sides, encouraging the dogs to focus more closely on their owners and teaching owners and their dogs to work as a team.

Requirements: Successfully completed Beginner II Agility or equivalent. Vaccinations must be administered by a license veterinarian. Dogs must be current on Rabies, Bordetella, and a Parvovirus/Distemper/Parainfluenza combination (i.e. DHLPP or DA2PP)
