Beau is a rescue dog and like many rescues he had a tough life before he found Tonia.  One of Tonia’s training clients brought Beau to her in hopes that he could be “saved.”  This kind woman rescued Beauregard from the Houston SPCA just minutes before he was to be euthanized.  His original owner who had not been kind to him surrendered him to the SPCA.  Subsequently he was adopted and returned twice because of his many behavioral problems.  The last time he was adopted by a horse trainer who thought she could handle him.  She did the right thing and sought professional training and that’s how he finally met Tonia.  Unfortunately his new owner was not able to dedicate the time it would take to rehabilitate Beauregard, so she asked Tonia to adopt him.  Without hesitation Tonia agreed because the minute Beauregard walked through the door she knew he was her dog.
